Micron Technology joined the European Organization for Nuclear Research's CERN openlab, a public-private partnership, by signing a three-year agreement. Under the agreement, Micron will provide CERN with advanced memory products to further machine learning functionalities for high-energy physics experiments at the laboratory. Micron's memory products that combine neural network functionalities will be tested in the data-acquisition systems of experiments at CERN.
